Since publishing our Youtube How to video (see below) on replacing the turbo coolant hose we have taken hundreds of calls and emails globally asking for assistance or thanking us for this content.
One of the most common questions is “how much would it cost to get GDL to carry out this repair?”
There has been some confusion surrounding this as it seems even our own staff may have made an error in recent weeks when quoting this repair.
At the time of publishing the cost to carry out this repair is $1650 including GST. There are additional costs if you choose to replace the Z hose and the other turbo cooling hose around the back of the turbo charger. If your doping all three at once through GDL the cost of these is $2200.
Of note. The 2012-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 does not have this hose and as such this repair is not necessary.
