If you have a Mopar Vehicle that is newer than 2018 your vehicle will require the Stellantis bypass in order to access the computers to do any diagnostic code reading, programing and fault code erasing.
These cars still have the conventional OBD2 plug under the driver side of the dash however most diagnostic scan tools excluding the factory Wii Tech will not access the vehicle through this port.
In order for after market scan tools to access these systems you will need the Stellantis bypass harness which does away with this very problem.
The plugs for there are in a variety of locations depending on the vehicle. Some of the Rams its behind the stereo, the Grand Cherokees it’s under the Glovebox and the KL Cherokees its behind the Steoro.
