A common fault with the Jeep grand Cherokee WK2 Diesel is the internal failure of the oil cooler unit. Frequently we are asked about this fault in terms of “what can be done to prevent it”
The short answer to this is to simply replace it. There is no Maintenace that can prevent this problem from happening. The only thing you can do is to replace it. This is like opting for a heart transplant because you may have future heart failure (obviously this is far less serious)
