Jeep Grand Cherokee: How to Remove the Wiper Cowling

To do any works in the engine bay, particularly the rear of the engine, it is often much easier if you remove the wiper cowling.

Often people feel this is not worth the effort and to just persevere with the cowling in. I would strongly disagree, quite literally a few minutes of work and you can remove about a foot worth engine bay.

This is advised for removing the inlet manifold on the petrol engines and any works on the back of the diesel engines.

The video link here gives you step by step instructions on how to remove this.
