2. Front Upper Control Arms:
The front upper control arms in the Ram are a known weak point that can cause steering and drivability issues as well as premature tyre wear. We advise replacing the front upper arms as preventative maintenance.
3. Rear Diff Service:
The Achillies heal for the Ram is its rear diff. The Most common failure on these vehicles is the complete failure of the rear diff. In some cases this is mechanical failure but in majority this is due to poor maintaince and infrequent diff oil changes. Our advise is as soon as you own one of these, get a diff service carried out and then continue to change the diff oil every 40,000 kms or more.

4. Rear Chassis Bracing
The rear chassis on the Ram is known for cracking under stress for a prolonged period of time. There are a number of kits available on the market now that offer bracing and reinforcement in these weakened and compromised areas of the chassis. These kits will require the removal of the tub and some skilled welding but once done the risk of the chassis crack fault is greatly diminished.
